Aangeboden wordt een originele Amerikaanse stalen buiten – gevechtshelm ( laat oorlogs model ) met Westinghouse liner.
De stalen buitenhelm heeft de split aan de achterzijde en de conditie is zéér goed. 1165E lijkt in de stalen helm te staan. De helm is na de oorlog aangepast als parahelm tijdens de Korea oorlog. De liner heeft meer gebruikssporen en de metalen bevestings onderdelen zijn roestig. De nape strap mist helaas. Vaag is er nog een aantekening te zien welke is ingeschreven in de lederen zweetrand. Het lijkt op een naam en legernummer ( ? )
Offered is an original American steel outer – combat helmet (late war model) with Westinghouse liner.
The steel outer helmet has the split at the back and the condition is very good. 1165E seems to be in the steel helmet. The helmet was adapted after the war as a para helmet during the Korean War. The liner has more traces of use and the metal attachment parts are rusty. The nape strap is unfortunately missing. Vaguely there is a note that is written in the leather sweat edge. It looks like a name and army number (?)
